Kidney Stone

I cannot be very conversant with comments or posts right now. I am in the process of passing a kidney stone. Please pray that if there is a God, I will either die soon or recover soon.

    1. Thanks, Elyse. Yeh, screw laughter. I was thinking maybe a bullet to the head would help, and kept begging the doctors at ER to just shoot me. I’m feeling better at the moment though. Hopefully I’m through the worst of it.

      1. Oh, I hope so, too. I haven’t had THAT particular pleasure. But I DID have a bowel obstruction which had me, at 50, crying for mommy. So I think we can call it even. Except that mine is gone. Hopefully yours will be soon too.

    1. Thanks doc. It’s feeling better at the moment. But it has a way of coming and going. The biggest challenge for me has been to keep my medicine down long enough for it to do some good. Finally accomplished that with the ibuprofen, and now I’m feeling better.

        1. That’s what I was thinking, while laying on the ER bed. People kept telling me that this pain is about the same as giving birth. So I kept wondering when they were going to give me an epidural.

    1. Yeah, but the challenge is in keeping them down. I couldn’t drink without throwing up, so the pain medicine they gave me wasn’t working. I’ve finally been able to keep an ibuprofen down, and now I feel much better.
